>>9661347>>9661712Shodo (on the right) are 4", so they fit with GI Joe. They look better than SO-DO. They have great paint apps on the front but tend to lack paint apps altogether on their backs.
SO-DO (on the left) are 4.5", so they're a bit on the tall side. Older SO-DO are quite blocky. While newer ones look better, they still don't quite look as good as Shodo. They use stickers instead of paint apps, though their backs also tend to be bereft of paint.
The advantage of SO-DO is that they tend to have a quicker release schedule and have lesser forms or characters, while Shodo is way slower and tend to focus on main forms and characters. Shodo also has a nasty habit of occasionally making super overpriced exclusives. Their Super Sentai are also overpriced. You're pretty much getting this line for Kamen Rider and Ultraman.
Nonetheless, I still prefer Shodo over SO-DO as they fit better with my other 1/18, such as Joes and MU.
