I preferred the look on those trains over Märklin because of the tracks and that it didn't come with fake gravel and a stupid middle power section.
I used to built it in the sandbox when I was 10, and it blended in so much better, and I could even make elevated crossings for the tiny plastic military vehicles (micromachines).
First time poster in /toy/ (saw the thread from the frontpage and was a major train kid back then, but no money).
