I gave up and paid the scalper tax for him. And it was worth it. This figure is such a curiosity. I'm almost shocked that they went with the lighter palette, cause it really makes the figure stand out amongst other Batmen on the shelf. It's damn near pastel, and I find that fascinating. I don't think it would be even half as appealing to me in the standard darker/metallic blue palette, I had zero interest in the Mafex for example.
This is the type of thing I like to see. Unconventional, daring choices. It doesn't always land, but at least it's interesting. And Todd can always release the darker colors later in a boxset with a retooled Bane or something.
