For certain poses they rely on friction in the hold, and I know from playing around with All Might, among other figures, there was not enough friction to hold him up or at a certain angle in the hole. Plus there's the possibility of the hole being stretched, not fitting right, etc.
Definitely pros and cons to both sides, and you guys both brought up fair points.
