>>5848490>What brand? I didn't mention any brand. You're either trolling or even stupider than I thought.Way to show your ignorance.
There's only one brand that recommends shoving the point into a socket. People like
>>5803735 probably just use the cradle or a U shape end to hold the figure in place.
I sure as fuck don't just do what abcd does.
>And the fact that compared to most plastic stands they look ugly and cheapIt's a rod. The more discrete the better. Matte metal is less noticeable than most options out there.
You only think it looks cheap because... well, it's cheap/free. Way to be a snob because you didn't pay money for it. It does its job better though and is less noticeable than most stands out there.
>Weren't you yourself saying that things don't have to be expensive if they do the job?Yep, but diecast is a shit material for toys. Too heavy, requires heavy paint coats drowning out detail, and chips off easily.
I mentioned it's only there to charge a premium to collectors, even though it costs less to manufacture and them using cheapo metals. This butthurt a couple of people here and they started flipping out: acting like their favorite company totally uses gold and other precious metals, not tin/zinc/lead/shit, because they totally always give them their money's worth because delusions. and wah wah wah
It's ridiculous at how people get so upset about reality, but i guess when you're paying premium prices for shit, you have to believe it's gold.
