>>7827588>a sculpt doesn't 100% line up with model sheets. No shit?
Nothing is 100% identical when a replica is made.
No one is saying that they're perfect.
Even the cartoon itself doesn't line up 100% with the model sheets.
You can still tell that NECA based their sculpts on the 80s cartoon though.
Whereas you can tell Bandai based their TMNT on the cheesy merch designs from the 80s and 90s.
> Acting like this show was high art with real skill & passion behind instead of a cheap toy commercial like all 80s cartoons were.Nah, you're just dumb and are just losing your shit (and so are these guys
>>7827557 >>7827590) over very basic 101 understanding of how shit is made and need to be explained how NORMAL people view this shit.
Again, as a FAN of the old 80s cartoon, i want my toys to LOOK like they came from the show and NECA did a great job at that. This is why i skipped the Playmates and Bandai versions, because they do not look like they came from the show.
BTW, REAL SKILL was put into the show. You're proving you don't know shit about animation and design. Passion? I'd love to read some interviews from the people behind the show. Post some links about how you know no passion was put into the show, because even 30 second commercials get made by driven creators.
To claim high art about anything is nothing but bullshitters who want to pretend their shit is special. And you're arguing over toys because "your" brand is looked down upon for its inaccuracy, so you're not anyone to ever be trusted. It's no wonder you even want to bring up "high art" when nothing of the sort was even implied.
