Dauntless and anything else 43'-early 44' would be painted in a tri-color scheme of sea blue, intermediate blue over insignia white undersides. Before that in 42' all USN aircraft were painted with blue grey upper surfaces over light grey undersides. Most times they sell paint sets so you'll have all the colors you need.
