The catapult cars are activated by magnetic cards while the balls themselves are opened by impact.
The line was 2018 so I believe this was what prompted Spinmaster to sue Choirock and Mattel that year. They eventually lost all cases internationally. Got buttfucked by the Koreans.

The car is the part that picks up magnetic cards, transforms and catapults the loaded ball. Unlike Bakugan, these Ghost balls transform using impact hence the launcher. Not sure if throwing clear plastic balls last.
