I'm not saying they're bad figures; I don't own any but at a glance the sculpts at least all look good. But this entire TVC revival has been unfocused in a way the last run wasn't. The first run had plenty of repacks (like the aforementioned) and mediocrities (pic related), but there was some degree of focus to it. The waves even had clear themes to them, for the most part.

Endor Luke is my favorite Luke Skywalker figure that currently exists, and I think most would agree that it was worthy of another release. That Vader, though? It's a good figure and I'm glad I got mine in 2010 but it wouldn't have been a mistake to make a new one with a removable helmet. It's even easy to justify releasing at mass retail since Vader tends to sell.
