>>9428197Are you making sure that you're using both points of connection to attach the gun? There's the tab on top of his forearm, that you already mentioned, but you're also supposed to remove his hand and slot that peg into the gun as well (and I'm can't remember if the instruction manual mentions it?). Aside from that, all I can really suggest is that you put some clear nail polish or superglue on the connection points to thicken them up an bit and strengthen the connection.
