But when there isn't a face, or better yet, a robot, it generally comes out pretty neat. I think the clothes sometimes comes at the detriment to the articulation, and it often comes more down to things being fashionable rather than fun (how they still haven't figure out how to do boots is beyond me. Just fucking add a cut so you can still get the tilt so shit isn't always so stiff!) but I still do like them. I personally adore the nabler guys. Would love a 1/12 version of them.
tl;dr it's a mixed bag. Some stuff are rad as fuck, some stuff aren't.
