I've owned "those awesome cheap toys" before. They sucked. The McFarlane Master Chief I got is a barely-poseable piece of junk that can't even stand up, the Guilty Spark + Sentinel two-pack practically falls apart if you look at it funny (I got both those for £4 each and I still regret it), and the three NECA figures I've bought have been mediocre at absolute best. I've handled MLs too, and they've further cemented my opinion that they are in fact trash only suitable for children.

Compare that to the Revoltech Evas I've bought for £30 a piece, which are genuinely fantastic toys for a decent price with tonnes of accessories and amazing articulation.
