When the proportions and styling are good, I am more liable to purchase characters I don't even know or care about. Because at that point it is about getting a cool toy, vs. merch of some character I like. I bought this exact weird Batman-Superman hybrid(?) because I just thought it looked so good as a figure. It has been a long time since I have bought Marvel Legends for that reason.
