>>6637373Other Swedish tank anon sounds like me (a pair of Strv m/38, Strv 122B, crying about the lack of 1/72 Strf90). Mikasa last thread was mine (and more boats will happen in the future, perhaps a modern-ish destroyer next to get a feel for the size of those), but as that should make quite obvious I'm not the guy we had posting some really nice ships a while ago.
>>6637377With the bit she's sitting on not being all that visible in this pic, it rather looks like she's floating out in zero G. And, yeah, shiny. If the group build you spoke about included a bunch of MaK or so in "normal" paint jobs I think it'd make for a nice pic to have a bunch of them lined up. Brings out the contrast and all that.
>How are you gonna do the wheels? They were done carefully. And without feeling any need to have them fully painted from every possible angle, if you can't see any missed spots without picking it up and starting to look around it's good enough for me.
> you use a bit of brown oil (oil for everyone!) paint to retouch it, but a filter would unify a lot too without the hassle of ""repainting"".I'll certainly slap on a filter or two overall to tie things together a bit (and I do use oils for both that and washes). Hopefully that'll get it close enough (not that far off now either really, but a bit better wouldn't hurt), but the brown might get some directed care if not.
