You have Tons of other examples with neca.
You launch it at the same time or sliglty before the game, then the line fail because the game doesnt fill up expectations
then you start making the figures once you know the game is popular, and everybody forgot about it at the time you start shipping them.
It pretty much mean you can only do it with really long stablished franchises.
