But then again, not really. I always liked the kind of creative, gender-bent spin they stuck on traditional classic monster stereotypes, whereas these dolls look like they're just straight up movie tie-ins in the Monster High style, and not reworks of their concepts.
Still, I hope it was popular enough to show that interest in the line is still out there.
