While I am not a fan of religion or the Vatican, or the bible's various forms of dogma, I am in agreement that people need to form communities, and many people can and do agree on the broad appeal of life lessons that the bible teaches, across the board.
I remember studying religion for a time, and finding this to be most true, Religions are a backbone of society, because of the community aspect, of how organized and put together other people are when they are in groups of closely-knit individuals that care for each other.
The Mormons in particular are like this, and they even have chapters here in the south, and all over, despite being headquartered in Utah. They take care of their own, and every church can learn from the Mormons in that regard.
The Christians, the Protestants, the Catholics, the Mormons, the Jehovah's witnesses, the non-denomenationals, they all love Jesus.
