>>8346515The back's nothing special, it's just a variation of a technique to preserve the gear function while increasing friction a lot that I found years ago. It's pretty bulky, but I've found that it works for me. The original method had the hand/connector piece on the front a la Gali Mata, but I wanted to preserve the look of the Toa Mata as much as I could. I won't claim to be a master at MOCing since I only really just got back into Bionicle sets this year, so for now I'm just trying to tweak existing sets that I have to something that satisfies me.
