That last one? I didn't realize it, but it's so fucking common place in my native language. There's such a huge disconnect between my language speaking brains that i can't even recognize the fucking brand name being used as a generic word for soda.
So basically, because Americans can afford brand name stuff, the more it's seen as an everyday common object where the assumption is made that all of those types of products are the same thing.
