I really don't know how durable is the paint.
most lion is painted in this semi glossy finish. Some say those type of paint get sticky after a few years.
There is also the problem of you are forcing painted parts together in combined mode and the mold being how sharp it is, I can see (yes barely) some chipping/wearing out of the paint on the chin. It might not be tear and wear but it is something to be concerned- I see a much rounder chin would not have this problem.
In a way I wish the lion head is bare plastic.
Minor complain.
Overall quality is up there with the diaclone stuff (and those as good as they are ar enjoy 100% perfect either)
