Second kit ever built. Haven't lined or added decals to it yet, as I'm not sure how I want to finish it. I still want to sand a bit to touch up a few nubs and was wondering how well flat coats are at hiding the scuff marks afterwards
Felt like a bit more of a challenge than the IBO kits I've built so far, but its my favorite and love it to bits
Also wanted to speed up getting parts off the runners, so for this build, I picked up a Xurion 410 as was in the guide, but I ended up have a less than satisfactory experience with them as they caused a lot of stress marks in the plastic.
I ended up switching to a familiar pair of small fabric shears that did a better job but ultimately went back to my old method of carefully trying to slice the parts out with the hobby knife which usually give me the best results on all but the thickest gates. Anybody have similar experiences?
