I think the addict angle is compelling. Especially that it’s the adrenaline more than the Miraclo. I like how regretful Rex is over his neglect of Wendi and Rick but that he just can’t help it. I like Rick being a cool older brother figure to Jakeem and how he was willing to take his father’s place with Extant. I like Matthew’s arc of discovering what it means to be human and ultimately taking Rex’s place with Extant while Rex and Rick begin to bond by working on rebuilding him.
