If I were to make a hypothetical Etemon, I'd use some of those fully articulated 3rd party gundam hands. Monkeysuit's gloves go over that, then sculpt the nail over the fabric with some apoxie sculpt.
Cloth bodysuit over a modded figure is actually something I've had in mind for a while. Wanna turn a bootleg 1/6 Synthetic Human into Madder Red. My sculpting skills isn't high enough level yet though.
