Some of those were made of softer plastic, like Jungle slizer's katana or Lava roborider's halberd. But some were hard plastic, like the pickaxes of Rock slizer. And those were all connected to Technic parts.
The real wacky part is this one. Pneumatic hose into a technic axle hole, and the other end is stretched over what is essentially a bar thickness part.
