But then when you transform it they fucked up the NEW colors on the chest because of the way a new piece comes out to make it look like the head spread and it's all in white. And the legs were fucked with weird splits in color. And the new brown on the arm just looks like they half finished repainting a regular grimlock. Why even was it different in the first place though?
I thought Twrecks was even worse. He needed either all metallic paint to look right in beast mode or none at all. And in robot mode he was a giant slab if gray unpainted robot. His head colour was wrong and he had that weird blue crotch and they accidentally used the wrong head mold and painted his lips, wtf.
I am really looking forward to this guy too but it is fucking weird how they didnt paint the crotch flap right or add blue like his prototype design. Why don't they do these 1:1 and have to fuck it up somehow? Do they just flip a coin? G1 will be the most accurate shit possible but with BW repaints it's always a crapshoot. The rest go from pretty good to good with minor nitpicks too so someone does clearly care.
