That's my logic, get it? Also maybe you're not getting my solution I keep mentioning every time because what they did was bad. Here's a picture. You just swap out the whole thing at a peg, that's what they should've done covered all potential issues. No need to make body parts in two halves, saves money.
Now I understand you just want this done at a the ball joint. That besides the joints themselves likely to be shitty anyways, adds some user unfriendlyness with the extra force involved. Also it is actually annoying to disassemble at the waist ball joint because sometimes a leg will pop off instead. A simple peg, less force than popping ball joints, no hustle.
