There's a lot of here-say about Fanstoys on these threads based off mostly some QC issues, but theres a reason people who actually collect MP stuff swear by them. The first 5 years of 3P MP stuff was marked with a ton of shoddy fly-y-night companies cranking out product and FT stood head and shoulders above the rest. The other company that was regularly making 3P MP figures back then I truly like is Maketoys. And even now FT is still ahead of their competition even if their prices are ridiculous now.
I still have some XTB/KFC pieces, but most of them are mediocre or down right horrendous. Pic related is trash that I'd regret buying if not for the cool car mode. Parts are pushed to their brink in regular transformation. Its a figure designed and tested entirely on computer and not as a hand held toy. FT transformations can be nightmares, but they're tedious, not outright stressing you'll break the toy.
