I am not a great writer (I'll be the first to admit this..), but even I can tell it wasn't written well. Sometimes less is more and the structure of the article started to fall apart by the end. I know this sounds cliché, it's not about what you say, but how you say it (or write it). It's very easy to not take someone seriously or write off their whole point, because of some sloppy writing. Social media is a great example of this. Again, I totally agree with all the points in the article but he isn't doing himself any favors by posting something like that. If he had someone proof read it and it looked more professional, it would help his case. How long would it took for someone to proof read that article, 10 minutes? The Fwoosh is one of the biggest toy review websites in the English speaking world and I am sure they have very capable people to do this sort of thing
