Look at the risers in these posts and how they can't put anything underneath some of them, because of the size of his figures.
You always have to take into account the limits of the shelving and buy expensive raisers to compensate. Then there's all the negative space and the bottom shelve being all but useless for displaying.
Something that's more customizable, such as the Billy, allows you to add a new shelf every inch or so at like a hundred different marks.
But keep thinking I'm wrong just because a couple dozen people got butthurt and will act negatively toward anything i say or do just because i criticized shitty furniture that is considered the epitome of good taste.
You know what i did with my Effektiv when i started running out of space? I added a new shelf. Then i got an add on when i started running out of space for that shelf, and bought a few other shelves to go with it. So it went from being 4 and a half feet tall to being over 7 feet tall. Now i had more shelves that could be at eye level.
Did the same with a Gallant.
Did it with the Billy.
Because customizability is really cool like that.
Kallax? Eh, not so nice, but it works well enough and has some limited shelving options. OF course, you can always just drill holes and even put glass/plastic shelving.
