He tanked the show and torpedoed even the slightest chance of success for the first female Doctor with some of the most hamfisted and godawful stories humanly possible. His entire era was so shit and hemoraghed viewers so hard they had to pull the nuclear option and bring back not only Russel T. Davies but David Tennant for maximum nostalgia numbers.
