This started out as just a simple parts swap to make a magento and kind of got more involved than I anticipated. I started off with a red guardian, shaved off the cuffs from his boots and gloves, and removed the star from his chest. I'm also gonna try to sculpt the design on his gloves and boots, the smaller pic is a test run on a spare arm.
The trunks, forearms/gloves, boots, and cape obviously need to be painted purple, but that's where I need advice. I was planning on just using citadels for the body stuff, but I'm not sure how well it'll adhere to the cape, which is a pretty flexible plastic. I remember painting something like that ages ago and it peeled off very fast as it flexed.
