>>7054839Oh, you want better images taken so it doesn't look super glossy, with close ups to show how detailed they are?
It's nifty what someone who uses better lighting can do.
> If you were to improve them to really put them on level with ML they'd end costing practically the same as ML.Spraying them with a matte spray isn't going to suddenly make them cost $10 more. Understandably BFS realizes this, because it's a smaller scale, yet they still took the time to give them amazing paint wipes, shading and other cool features that shows they took the time same as 4H did.
What you want is literally about a dollar more on what the consumer would pay.
Personally, i don't mind as i already either don't care enough to make any changes and when i do I just stick them with my models i paint and eventually give them an extra glossy or matte coat, depending on what's needed.
I mostly only ever paint GI Joe guns and other scale guns, but i really really love how Mezco is doing that already. Mezco always goes that extra mile that you don't see from most other 1:12 scale companies or Japanese ones. McFarlane does it too.
MGR makes you pay for that, which is alright.
>throwing a tantrum about it in a BFS thread. The GI Joe thread is about the most chillest thread on /toy/. Only that Jem troll shits it up for a few seconds, but no one really seems to argue or blow up if someone says that the GI Joe Club figures heads are too small or complaining everyday that Ripcord should be white or defending the cut in articulation, because they're not fanatics.
