Not the person you are replying to, but I think about that often. I'm 35 myself, but I remember endless rows of Star Wars toys at Toys R Us. It's kind of wild thinking about it. It was around the mid or late POTF2 era.. So, mid to late 90's? You could find whatever you wanted. Now, I wasn't a hardcore collector then but I didn't ever have an issue finding a trooper, bounty hunter or hero I wanted. I also can't believe how affordable it all was. I try not to put on my rose tinted glasses, it really does seem like a better time to collect. As others have pointed out during the Revenge of the Sith release, it was just bonkers how accessible figures were in terms of quality and availability. I wish I picked up collecting then. I only bought a few and then I was done. Nostalgia rant over

I own the SHF First Order Stormtrooper (TLJ version). Would you be willing to buy it at a extremely discounted price or trade something for it? I only bought it for the pauldrons, to use with my OT Stormies. If I can keep those, I'd be willing to sell it for dirt cheap. I have the box and everything else in pretty much mint condition. I just don't have any use for it personally

Bingo, was just about to post it. BS is only good for "bang for your buck" and the new mold looks not bad. SHF ANH and Rogue One are flat out amazing IMO and the amount of accessories is insane.

Ya, I love my SHF Maul. I don't think I could recommend any other version of him unless they make a Clone Wars version in the future.

Check out some reviews on the SHF Stormies but I really do think the Rogue One version is the best of the bunch. Like I said, ANH is version is a close second.

While cool looking (and I am not a fan of the ST, so take my opinion with a grain of salt..), I personally wouldn't do it. I bet money Hasbro will make a BS version sometime in the future. Troopers sell pretty well, no matter what era

I would suggest the Rogue One / A New Hope versions since those are the best looking ones by far, and pose very well. They also come with a crazy amount of weapons

If you want a cheap and great Vader, look at the BS 40th anniversary one. At one point you could find it for 10 - 15 bucks, bundled with the display.
