>>9286580The uncertainties of Mega releases and distribution have certainly contibuted to the feeling in many parts that if you want something you may have to pay whatever price you can get right away cuz the longer you delay the more likely it'll creep upwards.
I had this happen last year with the Halo Prototype exosuit, was getting to be quite some time after its release with no sign of it anywhere in stores and there was an ebay listing from Quebec offering it for a few bucks above retail, ended up ordering one. Maybe a month afterward it hit shelves at Walmarts and TRU here; just counted myself lucky that I hadn't paid a huge markup and got a second one to keep packaged for a rainy day.
