I'm not intending to use JMRI since my Powercab seems to be plenty enough to handle the amount of trains I plan on running on this but I'm gonna be using some block detection on two reversing loops on the topmost and bottommost parts of my layout (So far only the bottom one is fully wired, I'm airing my grievances about the stuff I need being out of stock everywhere a few posts above. It's just simple stuff in order to toggle the direction of the loop's turnout, nothing too fancy like you're imagining.
