>>6676798>upsize them a little for thicker arms. The whole point, and how they save money, is using the same sets of joints. They can't go around making specific new joints every time like Figuarts. They just did it with new Revo joints and then the Mini joints set. It's done for a while.
Some joints can't be used at certain places if say the sculpt is too small and it stands out.
6mm doubles for shoulders aren't that bad, not an issue. Spider-Man is probably the ultimate poseable figure for the "traditional revoltech" model. Worth having for those with a remote interest in articulated figures.
That said, it can use some improvements seen in later AY. Boot cut being a ball joint for one. The ankle joint on Spidey is terrible, so a mini joint with a ball end would be fantastic, but there's no 6mm version of that. The type used for Gwen's shoulders is small enough I suppose. Separate shoulder blades style torso like Wolverine would work and blend in with the webbing. The knees, I think better sculpting is all it needs, using a bigger joint. Or a mini joint with a ball end, be like the elbow of Wolverine and Magneto.
I highly doubt they would redo a character though. Easier profit just to reissue him over and over. And focus on making another character entirely.
Black suit probably wont sell as good. Maybe the current comic suit? It's an excuse to make a new figure and he still has that top selling Spider-Man look. Could it interest all those people who owns the old AY Spidey though?
Eh, maybe in 5 years or so.
