>>8040608>>8040612I agree about the loose gorilla arms, but that's very easily and inconspicuously fixed by applying a few dots of superglue to the shoulder ball joint and the elbow joints (the forearms come right off, no pins).
My big issues:
• Robot mode ankle tilts aren't strong enough (and I'm wary about trying to apply floor polish or glue)
• Gorilla legs only go back and forth (no thigh or hip rotation)
• Robot arms cumbersomely hang off of gorilla legs and it can be quite difficult to tab them into place (I can't say how I'd fix the aesthetic issue, though)
• Gorilla arms don't have enough length or articulation to properly beat his chest (you can get close, though, pic related)
• Gorilla hands can't hold anything (I've ordered the Matrix Workshop gun and axe set and I'd love for him to have the axe in ape mode)
• Jet mode is a flying brick and pegging in the nose cone is a hassle
• The shield/wing pack is PAINTED TRANSLUCENT PLASTIC and has a tendency to break (if you get him anyway use his gun to pry the shield out near the peg or you're gonna have a bad time)
• Gorilla mouth doesn't open and tabbing the neck into place feels like you're going to break something (it shouldn't, though, the white parts are nylon and much stronger than the usual plastic)
