Also, who even watches those old GI Joe episodes? The GI Joe cartoons have been on youtube for years now and the most popular only have a couple hundred thousand views. Pretty shit, compared to when cartoons used to have that much or more EVERYDAY on TV.
>>11015820>"Store pegs space" doesn't even begin to tell the whole story on how popular or successful a line is.Except it does and that's how it's worked for centuries. IF shit is a big seller, you need to have more product on the shelves. There's no ifs and buts about this. You're just ignorant and coping.
Again, they're releasing way less product today than they did years ago.
> 6 inch line to a 4 inch line which are completely different on how they operateMoney is money. We saw how Hasbro sabotaged their 1:18 Marvel line to redirect sales toward 1:12, because $20 > $10 and the consumer market couldn't support both. We're seeing how Hasbro has been cockblocking Hiya from releasing their 1:18 figures in the US, because that's competition for their 1/12 line.
And again, haslab being a success is meaningless, when the fact is that those products aren't mass produced like they would be if they were released at retail. Again, you have no understanding of how much shit would be selling if it had retail support. Completely ignorant.
BTW, I've been a GI Joe fan since the 80s. The bulk of my collection is the 00s and 10s stuff, because they released way more product during that time and i had the money to actually army build than i ever could as a child.
Guess what line i dont army build? Classified, because it's way too big, so i only pick and choose my favorites. And you don't see anyone else building massive armies either, unlike they did with the 1:18 lines. So even the established fanbase isn't supporting the GI Joe line like they did before.
