I would typically recommend taking a hobby lobby set for a whirl and seeing if you like how they scale/work with your collection. Or you can jump right into visiting a nearby dollhouse store if you're fortunate enough to have one nearby.
You can also try online. But I'd still recommend being very familiar with the product (As in the company/person who made it) you're buying and how it would scale with your stuff. The picture here shows how 1/12 scale stuff can still vary in dimensions from maker to maker. For that reason and due to general OCD I only buy stuff I can physically inspect in hand before buying.
There's one resident anon who went that route and bought off amazon. They acquired some wall panels I am pretty jelly of.
