I like your idea of special sets, but here’s one better, why not make special figures too in the same vein they did the 4-LOM and Zuckuss set. Do a modern update of the Kenner sculpts. Release a set and make Snaggletooth in his red jump suit with proper card, Hammerhead in his blue shirt, Death Squad Commander in his grey uniform on proper card, a chrome Death Star Droid and a Boba Fett in Kenner colors (yellow gauntlet).
Funko did this with their POPS, could redo Greedo and Walrusman too.
