>>5399322>>5398829The Bandai is still a very nice valk though, and it has two huge things going for it over the Arcadia. First, it has tampo detailing out the wazoo. Everything from vernier thrusters to sensor packages have little tampo details, whereas on the Arcadia pretty much the only tampos you have are the UN Spacy kites and the 19 on the shoulder. This may be a con to you depending on your point of view, but I personally love it (I also prefer the shade of tan used by Bandai over Arcadia's, whish is too pale IMO).
Bandai's second huge advantage is price. This advantage has decreased a bit in light of the Bandai's increasing aftermarket price and the impending Arcadia reissue, but you're still going to pay less for Bandai's 19 (especially if you can get it for MSRP or if a Chogokin YF-19 becomes a reality and you can get a preorder in). For the price, the Bandai is a fantastic deal. You get an extremely detailed, solid feeling and well articulated valk (the ankles on the Arcadia tend to be loose, though the reissue will supposedly address this) that still looks great in all three modes despite my preference for the Arcadia, AND you get the Super parts AND you get lots of stand parts (which are kinda ugly, but they're there!).
Kinda rambling now so let me sum up a bit; if having a 19 that looks like how the 19 appeared in Macross Plus is your top priority, get the Arcadia. If you can only get one 19 (or only want one), and you just want the best value for your money, get the Bandai.
