>>10951132After the last Chinese pirate ship disappointed me on a number of points (thanks Wange) I was pleasantly surprised to find the included cannons are proper firing versions, making up for the lack of wheels (which will be amended from the stockpile). The strings were a bit tricky to work with - not the best quality and liable to start unravelling at the ends (a lighter was most helpful in fixing this issue). I may have mixed up the string meant for the crane with the one for the anchor, ended up tying two of the shorter pieces together to make an overly long crane.
