Slot cars, I am interested in them, because I remember them being hours of fun and the tracks to be full of a complex visual spectacle. That said, I haven't used or purchased them for many years, and am thinking about setting up a model with some unique constructions that would utilize a 4wd chassis with unique, likely custom shells based on shit that I'm into, like Redline and Speed Racer (2008). Possibly car models from real life, fuck it.
I've seen loops, but how are other inversions and sharp banks looking? Aren't these tracks partially magnetized anyway? Are loops even canon to the slot car lore, or do none of the real manufacturers actually use them? Not sure why I'd assume either, just a lot of general confusion to start up a slot car thread.
