The non-rotatable versions don't work in my experience.
Electric micro drills are just gadgets in my opinion, you should get a dremel tool, this is for cleaning, polishing and cutting/boring larger material (like the first round of kit preparation), but you don't need it, it is a time saving device, not a necessity.
