i used to go to /lit/ everyday when it was first created. Then after a year, i started going less and less, because there was so much elitism and fantasy/scifi books started getting trolls shitposting about it, hence all fantasy books being pushed into a single General.

/lit/ today seems to be made up of mostly teenagers trying to make discussions that will answer the questions for homeworks. At times, the topics usually derail to the point they sound little better than the shit that goes down in /b/

there's been a couple of threads over on /tg/ to discuss the series, especially the lawsuit.

/lit/ used to have threads about it until the board got taken over by college kids asking for help on their literature courses.

Almost nothing but teenagers over there who hate anything that doesn't involve assigned reading lists for their English classes so other anons can do their homework for them.

Pretty sad, since the first year it started existing were pretty damn rad. Almost every book series had a thread, from new to old.

That board is almost nothing but high schoolers and freshman college kids.
The last a/s/l check they had there was almost all under 20 years old and there were like 4 guys over 30.

It's no wonder they do shit like this.

What's funny is that /lit/ used to be huge fans of ASoIaF back when /lit/ was still new.
There were a couple of threads about it every week that would stay up for a week for at least a year.

Then the TV show came out and it slowly got disliked, but the major trend was that /lit/ became a board for HS and college kids only. Back when /lit/ was new, there were quite a few older neckbeards from /tg/ in there. I returned to /lit/ the other year and they had one of their surveys showing likes and age, and it was literally nothing but teenagers.
It's no wonder they have threads like this.

Fucking /toy/ has more adults and over the age of 20 than /lit/.
Nothing but kids trying to play mature over there.

That said, a lot of wyvern toys already exist. Monster Hunter, Lord of the Rings's Fell Beast by Toy Biz, and a of course Smaug from the Hobbit movie.
Actual good dragon toys don't really exist, except those McStatues by Mcfarlane.
