They start collaborating more with Takara and doing really out there designs, Mirage at this point starts winding down as eastman runs Tundra and the aftermath and Laird focuses on other interests like running a bike racing team. The Playmates line starts diverging heavily from the comics and cartoons. As far as I know, nothing unique to the red skies season got toys, even the really toyetic secondary mutations. And then of course stuff like that, where prior existing characters get made redundant and instead of say,using older characters besides the turtles and Shredder, its always those 5.
Mutant Masters were cool, though
