When I was a kid, we lived in the middle of nowhere about 40 miles from the nearest K-Mart, so most of my Legoing was acquired through the Shop-At-Home phone number. TLG used to be pretty based about putting out printed parts packs like this, or the street signs pack (also got one of those) that I couldn't get at a retail store.
Man, I haven't thought of those yellow lighting bricks in almost thirty years. I have no idea where they ended up. Same with the cord.
