On the first page she says she's dying but then it's never brought up again and she wanders through a bunch of multiverse and astral plane stuff. There were a couple times where I thought the book would get interesting and pull an Inception where she's so used to being dumped in alternate realities that she's fallen into some psychic villain's trap, but then it would immediately go back to sitting on a couch with her girlfriend.
The frustrating part is there are glimmers of interesting ideas but they're clearly not something the writer was intentionally developing. I would totally read a series about Power Girl wandering the bardo through a different multiverse every issue.
