>>9558081>>9558089I'm in the same boat as you, I started making some upgrades to my Spirit pack as I wait for the Haslab version. Gives me a hobby/something to play around with, as well as a nicer pack this Halloween. The ribbon cable alone makes a massive difference. I plan on filling the speaker holes and painting/weathering the whole thing when it gets warmer. I haven't cleaned off the dust which has accumulated over the years as it gives it a bit of a weathered look in the meantime. I'm too on the lookout for an Alice frame. Don't have any good surplus stores around me so there aren't any cheap options aside from getting lucky on ebay.
I've also added a light and sound kit so it can do something with the Spengler wand attached without having to alter the Spengler wand. I drilled a hole where the second injector tube should be and installed the switch there because I plan on putting the Spirit wand back on when I get my Haslab pack, and when I do that I will be installing the switch (and a second switch which plays music) directly into the Spirit wand. I didn't want to be left with any useless holes, so I can install the second injector tube it's supposed to have in that hole when I put the Spirit wand back on the pack. This pack will be going to a kid when I get my Haslab, so the Spirit wand will be fine for them, and it easily plugs into the light/soundboard for proper integration.
