I don't find the switch to the uniboob a huge deal personally, but it's a symptom of a larger problem. Marvel/DC letting themselves be influenced by a vocal minority on somewhere like Twitter that don't actually buy toys or comics. Most straight men like sexy female characters. Most straight or lesbian women like sexy female characters. Most cosplayers like sexy female characters. And I imagine most gay men are too busy staring at Batman and Spider-Man to give a shit. So who exactly are we desexualizing these characters for? Same thing's going on with Warner Bros and guns, probably because a small group of parents complained, "Think of the children!" We're literally missing essential weapons for characters as if a toy not having a gun is going to stop mass shootings or something when in reality all it'll accomplish is make someone less likely to buy the figure.
All that said, I'm surprised to hear people complaining about the Revoltech AK Catwoman. That's one of the curviest DC figures we've seen in a while.
